Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code.
• Perform quality inspections on finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and tooling.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms or issues during production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and M-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and material properties.
• Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot common machining issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM)
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with CMM operation or advanced metrology tools
• Experience with 5-axis machining or multi-tasking machines
