Maintenance Manager | Zeeland, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Oversee the repair, troubleshooting, and installation of machinery and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement of necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, improve reliability, and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate closely with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and support manufacturing goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership and team management skills for maintenance personnel
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and automation (PLCs)
• Experience developing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM).
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar industry certification.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to maintenance processes.
• Proficiency with PLC programming, industrial automation, or robotics maintenance.
