Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation, including WIP and finished goods.
• Identify and analyze cost variances, recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to manufacturing costs.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for inventory and cost of goods sold.
• Provide cost information and analysis to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with standard costing, activity-based costing, and production cost reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel functionalities (VBA, Power Query).
• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing analysis in a manufacturing environment.
