Salary Range: $111,000 - $160,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reliability.
• Ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of new equipment, technologies, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D departments to resolve technical issues and support new product introduction.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards, best practices, and safety protocols within manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial) applicable to manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience managing complex engineering projects from conception through successful implementation in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or MBA.
• Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or PLM systems.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML in manufacturing, advanced automation).
