Salary Range: $113,000 - $162,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects for production lines and new product introduction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and enhance operational performance.
• Ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and allocate engineering support for critical production needs.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) with 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing process improvement or new product introduction projects.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies for process optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and supply chain teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, advanced automation) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing execution systems (MES) like SAP, Oracle, or Plex.
• Demonstrated experience with P&L responsibility or significant budget management for manufacturing operations.
