Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative product designs and engineering solutions for manufacturing.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA) analyses.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for designs.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure design compliance with industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) / Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Experience with common manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to conduct design analysis, prototyping, and testing for product validation and improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation software.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or fabrication.
• Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, or additive manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
