Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, and wastewater discharge permits and compliance.
• Maintain EHS records, prepare regulatory reports, and monitor key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or other advanced EHS professional certification.
• Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex) and data analytics for EHS metrics.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
• Experience implementing Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies in EHS.
