Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions (PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics).
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures and performance issues.
  • Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Perform commissioning and validation of new automation equipment and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation systems.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to define automation requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA system development.
  • Experience with industrial robotics, motion control, and machine vision systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus) and data acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and relevant safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots) programming and integration.
  • Proficiency in vision system integration and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or database integration for automation data.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and IIoT technologies.
