Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable for vendor invoices and customer payments.
• Process payroll, including timecard verification and submission of related tax filings.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements and valuations, collaborating with production teams.
• Monitor and categorize manufacturing-related expenses, such as raw materials and production costs.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and audit preparations.
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and experience with ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with inventory management and basic cost accounting concepts relevant to manufacturing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory valuation methods and basic cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of manufacturing-specific payroll considerations (e.g., shift differentials, production bonuses).
