Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the month-end close process and financial reporting.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP.
• Analyze production costs, profitability, and operational performance to drive improvements.
• Lead financial audits and ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure analysis.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years specifically in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team, and effectively collaborate with operations management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Demonstrated success in driving financial process improvements or automation within a manufacturing setting.
• Prior involvement in ERP system implementations or significant upgrades in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations and associated financial complexities.
