Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all financial accounting, general ledger, and reporting activities.
• Oversee the cost accounting system, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Lead the annual budget development and periodic forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and implement strong internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and insights on operational performance and product profitability.
• Coordinate and manage external financial audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and partner strategically with operational management.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP system implementation or optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Demonstrated experience applying Lean or Six Sigma principles to finance processes
• Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities
