Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial reporting, including month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis and insights to support operational decisions.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations.
• Oversee cash management, working capital optimization, and treasury functions.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or significant module optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies and their impact on operational finance
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced reporting and insights
• CPA or CMA certification
