Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop, monitor, and report on operational budgets and financial forecasts for production plants and departments.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, material usage, and labor costs.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and facility improvements.
• Analyze inventory valuations, turns, and obsolescence, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Partner with operations management to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
• Provide financial support for product costing and pricing strategies based on manufacturing costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data extraction and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
