Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision measurements using various metrology equipment (CMM, optical comparator, hand tools).
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and gages.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Document and report inspection results, calibration data, and non-conformances accurately.
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for automated inspections.
- Support production by performing first article inspections and in-process checks.
- Assist with Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analysis activities.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and calibrating various precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMMs, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators).
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Experience with metrology software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of measurement uncertainty, calibration standards, and quality control procedures.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations, statistical process control (SPC), and data interpretation.
Bonus Qualifications
- CMM programming experience (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
- Experience with 3D scanning technologies and associated software (e.g., PolyWorks, GOM Inspect)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Proficiency in a CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model-based inspection
