Salary Range: $63,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality non-conformances and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics, analyze data, and generate reports on product quality performance.
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and finished goods to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 (or relevant industry standard) quality management systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop quality personnel.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience administering or implementing Quality Management System (QMS) software.
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated experience in Lean manufacturing principles implementation.
