Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze manufacturing defects and customer complaints to determine root causes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  • Design and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product conformance to specifications.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Collaborate with production, design, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement in product and process quality.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor process performance and identify trends.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including APQP, PPAP, and FMEA development.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, 8D).
  • Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
  • Demonstrated ability in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB, CQA)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software
