Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Recruiters. Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit skilled trades, production, technical, and engineering talent within manufacturing.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
• Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, vocational schools, and industry networks.
• Conduct thorough interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws.
• Participate in local career fairs, community outreach, and employer branding initiatives to build talent pipelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, and engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and industry-specific job requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract skilled trades, technical, and professional talent.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for skilled trades (e.g., machinists, welders, electricians).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) within a production environment.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant setting (non-recruiting role).
