Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, structural integrity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding, cleaning, and positioning components.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and torches.
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and repair metal parts and structures as required by production needs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid AWS D1.1, D1.2, or D1.6 certification (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Ability to work with various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 or other specialized welding certifications (e.g., for specific materials like stainless steel or aluminum)
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting)
• Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick) beyond the primary requirement
• Familiarity with robotic welding systems or automated welding equipment
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and visual inspection techniques
