Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support manufacturing operations and production schedules.
• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and engineering teams to ensure timely material availability and optimize inventory levels.
• Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and spend data to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes, systems, and supplier performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with strategic sourcing and contract management.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Track record of achieving cost reductions and supply chain efficiencies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with international sourcing and global logistics.
• Proficiency with advanced ERP modules for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with data visualization tools or advanced Excel modeling.
