Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials and components.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contract compliance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements in procurement.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor market trends and raw material prices to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ensure all purchased materials comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship development skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and purchasing software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for purchasing modules.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, APICS (CSCP/CPIM), or other relevant supply chain professional designations.
• Experience with international sourcing, global supply chain management, or import/export logistics.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance insights.
• Demonstrated experience in sustainable sourcing practices or supplier diversity programs.
