Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
  • Manage and maintain quality documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and inspection reports.
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators and report on trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer quality requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or other relevant quality management system standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with advanced quality planning tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA
