Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T to determine measurement requirements.
- Document and maintain accurate calibration and inspection records in accordance with quality standards.
- Identify and report non-conforming parts or measurement discrepancies to relevant teams.
- Assist in the programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Support the development and improvement of measurement processes and techniques.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs).
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Familiarity with calibration processes and maintaining measurement equipment.
- Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) or other automated measurement systems.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis software.
- Proficiency in CAD software for model-based inspection and fixture design.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
