Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing carrying costs.
• Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with production planning and sales to accurately forecast demand and schedule material deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling, warehousing, and logistics processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies for materials.
• Lead and develop the materials team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in vendor negotiation and relationship building.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on inventory optimization and cost reduction.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced data analytics for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
• Prior involvement in ERP system implementation or significant module upgrades
