Maintenance Technician | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery failures to minimize production downtime.
• Execute emergency repairs on production lines to restore operations quickly.
• Install, calibrate, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment history records.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V), PLCs, and VFDs.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and advanced diagnostics (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick).
• Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration (e.g., EPA 608 Universal).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP PM or Maximo.
