Salary Range: $63,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the inventory, organization, and maintenance of all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all tooling to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production and engineering departments to ensure timely availability and repair of necessary tooling.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repair history, and inventory levels.
• Manage the procurement of new tooling, spare parts, and consumables, working within budget constraints.
• Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment for wear, damage, and calibration status.
• Develop and implement procedures for tool crib management, including check-in/check-out processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and control of tooling.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
