Salary Range: $68,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient and timely access to tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, dies, fixtures, and spare parts, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage.
• Supervise and train tool room technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all tool room equipment and machinery.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of manufactured or repaired tools to meet production specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the tool room, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments to understand tooling needs and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement procedures for tool calibration, repair, and replacement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a tool room environment within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, jigs, and precision machining processes.
• Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance schedules and tooling repair procedures.
