Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify adherence to specifications.
• Document inspection results thoroughly and accurately, including acceptance/rejection status and any deviations.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality control specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records, logs, and databases in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Solid understanding of quality control principles, methodologies (e.g., SPC), and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results and non-conformances.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems).
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and apply advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
