Salary Range: $83,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems and manufacturing capabilities.
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including PPAPs and control plans.
• Monitor supplier performance through data analysis and key performance indicators.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality and processes.
• Qualify new suppliers and components through rigorous evaluation and testing.
• Manage non-conforming material from suppliers and ensure proper disposition.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA) tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys), and problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or similar product validation processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software and techniques.
• - Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., CQE) or relevant field.
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams.
• - Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
