Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, operational procedures, quality standards, and new equipment.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules and optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and consultation with department supervisors.
  • Source and manage external training providers and resources when specialized expertise is required.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and hands-on exercises.
  • Track and report on training effectiveness, employee progress, and return on investment through various metrics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies through documented training records.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the manufacturing workforce.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Experience with performance management and needs assessment to identify training gaps.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training programs
  • - Proficiency in developing and delivering e-learning modules and virtual training sessions
  • - Certification in Adult Learning Principles or Instructional Design
  • - Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their training integration
