Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing and administrative employees.
- Manage and review timekeeping data, including overtime, shift differentials, and paid time off for hourly production staff.
- Calculate and process all payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, as well as company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and prepare related journal entries.
- Prepare and submit all required payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1095s).
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, and time off accruals.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paychex) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and multi-state payroll processing.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately process complex payrolls, including overtime, shift differentials, and various deductions common in manufacturing.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with payroll processing in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with time & attendance systems common in manufacturing (e.g., Kronos, UKG, ADP Time).
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
- Basic understanding of general ledger reconciliation related to payroll.
