Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and supply chain to align production plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to optimize inventory and minimize obsolescence.
  • Identify and resolve production scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material availability issues.
  • Analyze production capacity, resource utilization, and lead times to ensure feasible schedules.
  • Communicate schedule changes, potential risks, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for scheduling processes, tools, and data accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for demand planning and production scheduling.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex production data.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software (e.g., Kinaxis, OMP, SAP APO).
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced analytics.
  • Formal certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
  • Project management experience related to system implementations or process improvements.
