Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations, including servers, networks, and shop floor systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems such as SCADA, MES, and ERP.
• Implement and manage robust data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for manufacturing data.
• Monitor system performance and security, responding rapidly to incidents impacting production uptime.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for IT and operational technology (OT) issues on the factory floor.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams on IT/OT integration projects and system optimizations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Demonstrated ability to support IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including familiarity with OT/IT integration.
• Knowledge of data backup/recovery solutions and implementing IT security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments and industrial network protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices and frameworks relevant to manufacturing.
• Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) with manufacturing-specific modules.
