Facilities Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA), environmental standards, and building codes.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
• Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and vendors.
• Plan and execute facility improvement projects, expansions, and reconfigurations to support production needs.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespans.
• Manage utility consumption, waste management, and sustainability initiatives across the plant.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing facilities within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations (OSHA), environmental compliance (EPA), and building codes.
• Experience with budget management, procurement, and vendor relations for facility services.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience.
• Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, or LEED certification processes.
