Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize G-code programs for CNC lathes based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding devices for specific machining operations.
- Perform program simulations and verifications to ensure accuracy, collision avoidance, and machining efficiency.
- Create detailed setup sheets, tooling lists, and operational instructions for CNC lathe operators.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, operators, and quality control to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Analyze and modify existing programs to improve cycle times, part quality, and machine utilization.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming for CNC lathes.
- Demonstrated experience with CAD/CAM software for lathe programming (e.g., Mastercam, Esprit).
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of tooling selection, fixturing, and workholding principles for lathe operations.
- Knowledge of various material properties and their impact on machining strategies and parameters.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with multi-axis milling or other CNC machining processes.
- Proficiency in advanced CAD modeling or CAM simulation software.
- Familiarity with metrology equipment and quality inspection processes.
- Basic machine troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.
