Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and verification of a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records and documentation in a calibration management system.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning instruments and calibration equipment.
• Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
• Manage and maintain the calibration schedule, ensuring timely calibration of all critical equipment.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to address measurement-related issues and support equipment readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation) or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of metrology principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and measurement uncertainty.
• Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and calibrating a wide range of precision measurement equipment (electrical, mechanical, pressure, temperature).
• Demonstrated ability to accurately record calibration data, generate certificates, and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing instrument issues and optimizing calibration processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with calibration management software (e.g., Beamex CMX, Fluke Met/Cal)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Demonstrated electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience working in an ISO 9001, AS9100, or FDA-regulated environment
