Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Manage, train, and evaluate finishing department personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure finished products adhere to specifications.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues within the finishing process.
• Maintain and monitor finishing equipment, ensuring proper operation and scheduling preventative maintenance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the finishing area.
• Track and report on finishing department performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in various manufacturing finishing processes (e.g., painting, assembly, polishing, inspection).
• Strong understanding and application of quality control principles and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for production tracking and scheduling
• Experience with advanced automated finishing systems (e.g., robotic painting, automated polishing)
• Demonstrated experience in tooling or jig design for finishing processes
