Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC) and lean/six sigma methodologies.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for complex quality issues.
• Develop and optimize Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate product and process risks.
• Define and implement measurement system analysis (MSA) and validate inspection methods and equipment.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and drive data-based decision making.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100) including auditing and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead complex problem-solving initiatives utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Advanced statistical analysis skills, proficient with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data interpretation and process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in advanced statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python)
• Experience with AI/Machine Learning applications in quality control or predictive quality
• Lead Auditor certification for relevant industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
