Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for manufacturing personnel.
  • Coordinate external training vendors and ensure alignment with company needs.
  • Manage the learning management system (LMS) for tracking employee training records.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and job aids.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Onboard new manufacturing employees with essential safety and operational training.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and quality training regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to conduct training needs assessments and develop effective training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish).
  • Project management experience.
