Salary Range: $101,000 - $148,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Value Stream Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to optimize value streams from raw material to customer delivery.
• Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control key performance indicators for assigned value streams.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work) to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain value stream maps to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve significant reductions in lead time, inventory, and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Mentor and coach team members on Lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to support value stream objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
