Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to synchronize material movement and meet production schedules.
• Implement and maintain a robust cycle counting program.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to implement and manage inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on team development and safety
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• APICS certification (CSCP or CLTD).
