Warehouse Manager | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow and inventory accuracy.
- Develop and implement warehouse safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage and optimize warehouse space utilization, layout, and equipment.
- Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to optimize material handling processes.
- Monitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
- Negotiate with vendors for warehouse equipment, supplies, and services to achieve cost efficiencies.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize inbound/outbound logistics, material flow, and storage solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- OSHA 30-hour certification
