Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Charlotte seeking experienced Tool Makers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and gauges.
• Perform precision measurements using a range of inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and production equipment.
• Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to develop new tooling solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Toolmaker certification or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex tooling and dies.
