Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Charlotte seeking experienced Tool Makers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Fabricate, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and gauges.
- Perform precision measurements using a range of inspection tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and production equipment.
- Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to develop new tooling solutions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Journeyman Toolmaker certification or equivalent apprenticeship.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
- Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex tooling and dies.
