Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Tooling Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes tooling for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates with production teams to troubleshoot and improve existing tooling.
• Conducts root cause analysis of tooling failures and implements corrective actions.
• Manages tooling procurement, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Develops and maintains tooling documentation, including specifications and drawings.
• Evaluates new tooling technologies and materials for potential implementation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in tooling design, development, and optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for designing and analyzing tooling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, casting, or machining.
• Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Knowledge of various tool materials, heat treatments, and surface finishes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for mold design and manufacturing
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, stamping, die casting)
• Knowledge of metrology and inspection techniques for tool validation
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Certification in a relevant area (e.g., Six Sigma, GD&T)
