Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test tooling for manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot tooling issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling performance and ensure manufacturability.
• Manage tooling lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, and end-of-life disposition.
• Develop and maintain tooling specifications, standards, and documentation.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for tooling design and manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling design, development, and optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for tooling design and simulation.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, materials, and their impact on tooling performance (e.g., injection molding, stamping, machining).
• Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tooling design and simulation.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes beyond injection molding, such as stamping or casting.
• Familiarity with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior engineers.
