Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program PLC/HMI solutions for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Implement, test, and commission new control systems and machinery on the plant floor.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for production issues related to automation and controls.
• Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and throughput.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics, software documentation, and control system specifications.
• Ensure all control systems comply with industry safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, mechanical) on project execution and problem-solving.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley Logix platforms, Siemens TIA Portal) and associated programming languages.
• Proven experience in HMI/SCADA development and deployment (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP) and network architecture.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial motion control systems (servo drives, VFDs) and/or robotics programming (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and experience implementing safety-related control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots).
• Proficiency in SCADA/MES integration and data historian solutions.
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Basic understanding of industrial network design and OT cybersecurity principles.
