Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced radiographic and computed tomography inspections on a wide range of materials and components.
  • Develop and optimize inspection methodologies, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.
  • Analyze complex inspection data, providing detailed reports and expert recommendations to clients.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of sophisticated NDT equipment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab processes and quality systems.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with substantial experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with high-resolution X-Ray and CT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of various industry codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities for defect identification and material characterization.
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to relocating to the Michigan area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NDT Level III certification in any method.
  • Experience with phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) or eddy current testing (ECT).
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead technical role.
  • Familiarity with industrial imaging software and data visualization tools.
