Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced radiographic and computed tomography inspections on a wide range of materials and components.
- Develop and optimize inspection methodologies, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.
- Analyze complex inspection data, providing detailed reports and expert recommendations to clients.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of sophisticated NDT equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab processes and quality systems.
Recommended Qualifications:
- ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with substantial experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with high-resolution X-Ray and CT systems.
- In-depth knowledge of various industry codes, standards, and specifications.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities for defect identification and material characterization.
- Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to relocating to the Michigan area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NDT Level III certification in any method.
- Experience with phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) or eddy current testing (ECT).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead technical role.
- Familiarity with industrial imaging software and data visualization tools.
