Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs and variances.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform inventory valuation, reconciliation, and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to production costs.
• Provide cost data and analysis to support product pricing and profitability decisions.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within manufacturing operations.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing variances.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Lean or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with Activity-Based Costing (ABC) implementation.
