Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead).
• Develop and maintain standard costs for all products and components.
• Manage inventory valuation, including obsolescence and cycle count adjustments.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analysis for management.
• Assist in the annual budget process and periodic cost forecasting.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routing data.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) beyond standard user functions.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
