Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM programs from 3D CAD models and 2D blueprints.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured components using CMM.
• Analyze inspection data, identify non-conformances, and generate detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot CMM equipment, programs, and measurement issues.
• Calibrate CMM probes and ensure machine accuracy and repeatability.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret specifications and resolve measurement challenges.
• Maintain and update CMM program libraries and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various measurement techniques and metrology principles.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot CMM programs and measurement issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Calypso).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) for model manipulation and fixture design.
• Understanding of advanced metrology principles, including measurement uncertainty and Gage R&R studies.
• Experience integrating CMM data with SPC software or quality management systems.
