Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and scheduling payments.
• Process accounts receivable, generating customer invoices and recording payments.
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records for all company transactions.
• Track and record inventory adjustments, material costs, and finished goods transfers.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
• Prepare basic financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor and reconcile fixed asset depreciation schedules for manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and job costing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with inventory valuation and tracking methods.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
